Jage
These terms apply when you use the Jage app and its online service, provided by Ciri Konsultbyrå AB (organisation number 559323-2530, registered seat Lerum). Buying a tracker is covered by separate purchase terms, which will be published before sales start.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Jage you accept these terms. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under 18 you must use Jage with the knowledge of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for your hunting and use of firearms. Please also read our privacy notice.
2. Your responsibility and safety
Jage is an aid. It does not replace your judgement, hunting safety, firearms rules or game management routines, and you follow the law on hunting, firearms, traffic and access to land yourself. Positions can be delayed, wrong or missing (GPS, radio, network, battery), so never rely on the map alone for safety-critical decisions. Jage is not a public authority service. In an accident or emergency, call 112.
3. Location sharing
When you share your position or dogs in a hunt, the members of the hunt can see them. You choose what you share and can stop at any time. Make sure the people you hunt with know about and accept the sharing, and do not use Jage to follow someone who does not know about it.
4. Subscriptions and payment
- Jage has free features and paid parts: Tillsammans, Veckopass and tracker service. Prices, billing period, VAT and any trial are shown before you buy, in the Stripe checkout. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Paid parts are bought on our website and paid only through Stripe. The Jage app itself does not sell anything. Ciri is the seller. Receipts, card details and cancellation are handled in the Stripe customer portal.
- Cancelling: Tillsammans and tracker service are recurring subscriptions. To cancel, use the Stripe customer portal or email us; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and you keep the time you have paid for. Cancelling stops renewal; it is separate from the right of withdrawal below. Veckopass is a one-time purchase for seven days and does not renew.
- If the tracker service is not paid for, the tracker's positions are not shown until it is paid; stored data is not deleted for that reason.
- Right of withdrawal: as a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase of a digital service, counted from the day the contract is entered into. If you expressly ask us to start the service during that period and confirm these terms, you pay a proportionate amount for what has been delivered up to the time you withdraw. For a service that is provided in full within the 14 days, such as Veckopass, the right ends once the service has been fully provided, but only if you expressly asked us to start and acknowledged this before it started. To withdraw, email info@ciri.se with a clear statement of which purchase you withdraw from and the email address of your account.
- If you are under 18, you may buy paid parts only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
5. Acceptable use
Keep your account details accurate and secure. Do not harass, threaten or offend others, share unlawful or offensive content, pretend to be someone else, or disrupt or try to break into the service. You can report a chat message or block a member in the app. The hunt leader or we can remove messages and pictures that break these terms, and we can suspend the account of someone who keeps doing so.
6. Disclaimer and liability
We do not guarantee that Jage is uninterrupted or error-free, and trackers and third-party equipment are used at your own risk as far as the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by incorrect, delayed or missing information, equipment, networks or suppliers we do not control. Liability that cannot be excluded, for example for personal injury caused by our gross negligence or intent, and your mandatory consumer rights, including the rules on defects in digital services, are not affected.
7. Intellectual property
You own what you add (pictures, names, text) and give us the right to store and display it to the people you share it with, as far as the service requires. Jage, its trademarks and code belong to Ciri Konsultbyrå AB or its licensors. You may not copy, decompile or rebuild them, except where the law expressly allows it.
8. Changes and termination
We may change or discontinue features for objective reasons, such as technical development, legal requirements, security or a supplier ending its service. If we discontinue a paid feature or change these terms to your disadvantage, we will notify you in advance by email, stating the date it takes effect. If you do not accept the change you can cancel and are refunded for paid time you have not used; if you keep using Jage after that date we treat it as acceptance only where the law allows this. You can close your account at any time, as described under Deleting your account in the privacy notice. We may suspend an account immediately for breach of these terms or abuse.
9. Governing law
Swedish law applies, and disputes are decided by Swedish courts. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country still apply and you can always bring a claim in the courts of your home country. You can also turn to a consumer complaints body: in Sweden the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), and in Norway, Finland and Denmark the corresponding national consumer authority or complaints board.
